unfinished projects

one day in the future I might finish some of these, but if I do they won't be posted here, for the rest of my days I will keep this place up only as a repository of popular posts and an image hosting site for my new blog = https://nerdwerds.bearblog.dev/blog/

Monster Manual for Apocalypse World:
I posted a new threat type for use with Apocalypse World, and I wrote a lot of entries - owlbear, shrieker, violet fungus, unicorn, nightmare, elementals, giant toad, dragon, ki-rin, brain mole, lycanthrope - all in various states of incompleteness, but never finished anything that met my own standards of satisfaction

Custom Classes for Kosranon:
my personal homebrew campaign setting that sometimes sees additions and revisions applied randomly, I have a number of ideas for character classes, the Spore Eaters and the Windcallers and the Templars are the big ones that help shape some of the themes for the world setting, but I've focused so much on revising Swamphaven (the dingy capital of crime) that I've neglected some of the other (wider?) aspects of the setting

Kosranon as a setting:
just having something that collectively holds everything in one place that I can reference has been a project that keeps getting pushed onto the back burner, I have so many notes, rough drafts, and emails-sent-to-myself with details of the setting and the world and yet I've never been able to collate it all together into one pdf (it'll be PWYW whenever I do get around to doing it)

car combat rules
I actually forgot about these until I looked at the notes I had for it, maybe I'll get around to working on it again if I ever GM a post-apocalyptic setting again

the Corthu, a raven-like race for D&D:
similar to my Ratkin write-up for 5th edition, this was going to be a "Kenku with the serial numbers filed off and re-written to be murderous crow people" but it was for 5th edition and I grew tired of that system, maybe I'll revise it for something new

Hexvouna:
my megadungeon, work continues slowly but surely and slightly more often than working on Kosranon, but I never share any details about it because 1) I've never GMed any portion of it, and 2) I would like to be able to release (realize?) it as a single cohesive thing before I let other people see it, it is also a work that causes revisions to Kosranon and Swamphaven since its origin is linked to the two

Powered by the Apocalypse projects
several settings and ideas have spawned work that remains incomplete, ones that I have readily at hand are: a smaurai setting inspired by Legend of the Five Rings, a Ghostbusters hack, and Tales from Imperial Space - a far future space game

populations in and around the Keep on the Borderlands:
an analysis of how the population in the castle keeps itself fed and why the population in the caves needs to be an active threat to the castle or else they'll starve or resort to cannibalism, and the whole adventure becomes a lot more fun and morally ambiguous when you change the demihumans to humans who are fomenting a rebellion

Dark Souls D&D
this is the closest to being finished, I originally started it as a 5th edition conversion of Dark Souls but it has grown into an entirely new thing, once I figure out how to convert spells so they feel accurate then I think I'll be done

and that's it!
